The Story:The Land Beyond the River

In The Land Beyond the River, readers are transported into a post-apocalyptic world where an ancient survivor unites three different groups to form the New People. This captivating narrative explores themes of survival, community-building, and cultural preservation after civilization's collapse.

At the heart of the story is the Ancient One, a centenarian who shares insights about life, belief, and history from beyond the river during the first Summer Gathering. Little Eagle emerges as a budding historian under the mentorship of the Ancient One. He is tasked with protecting the ancient books that survived the apocalypse. Meanwhile, Grandfather captivates listeners each evening with his storytelling, answering questions, and weaving tales from beyond the river.

Together, these characters celebrate culture and memory in a world reborn from its ashes. The Land Beyond the River is both a remembrance of what was lost and an inspiring celebration of new beginnings.
